DESIGNATED SAFE SPACE INDOOR PET YARD:This is a great option and one you'll see used in my home. These are a great option for indoor use.

METAL PET PEN: We love the metal play pen for designating a safe space for your pet while he or she is not being supervised. Metal is great for outdoor use but can scratch hardwood floors.

KENNEL/CRATE For Crate Training & Sleeping

We highly recommend crate training. We prefer a wire crate with divider so you can increase the available size without having to purchase multiple crates. The removable plastic tray allows for easy cleaning and most models collapse for easy storage. We have no brand recommendations and encourage you to read reviews to determine which size and brand best fit your needs.

PET COT

Our pack loves their elevated cots. These help them keep cool while also giving them some cushion from hard surfaces. Goldens run hot so you'll rarely find them in a cushy, warm pet bed.

HARNESS

We prefer leash training with a harness rather than a collar.

PET INSURANCE

We strongly encourage all families to consider pet insurance. We personally hold policies through Embrace.
